A couple of days ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Jake and Nate. They are the founders of Artful Gentleman and they specialize in custom clothing. Meeting them was really important because they don’t only care about their products, they are also very passionate about their customers and making what they want. They make clothing “FOR ALL”, and are based in the Bay Area. The piece that caught my attention the most was a beautiful wool, brown suit. It had a vintage feel to it and had beautiful light blue details on the sleeves and lapel. This piece brought me back to when I was a kid and my grandpa used to wear similar clothing – but it’s updated to be more modern. The lining of the jacket is really delicate and very comfortable. The suit is slim cut, and of course, they would tailor it perfectly to their customer. This is a great suit that every artful gentleman should own. Meeting these two and seeing their work was very inspiring and I would definitely recommend anyone to go here to get a custom suit.

While taking photographs around the Mission district, I came across this beautiful place called Claridon Alley, full of graffiti. This is where I met Josh. He used to live in San Francisco, but just moved down to the City of Angeles. He is a photographer. You can totally see his artistic eye in the clothes he uses and how he puts it together.

He generally wears “old man sweaters and button up shirt with jeans” he says. He really enjoys thrift store shopping. He creates his own style and says, “I don’t really follow fashion”. Most of his clothes are from different thrift stores.
